This knife was made for a good friend, Rick Huseby, who is also a Class A guide and a Ranger. Those of you who have field dressed deer will appreciate how well this blade shape handles that first 'circular' cut that is such a pain in the....

The blade is made from 1/8" 440C stainless steel bar stock, heat treated to Rockwell 56 which is softer than I'd like.... Then why did I do it? Was it a mistake? Actually, it was by special request of the customer for easy touch up in the field. By this time I'm beginning to realize that it's not my preference that is important. Scales (handle) are Dymondwood stabilized laminate and look very good on this knife.
